Shantae Video Game Series

So has anyone else played any of the Shantae games?

I have played Half-Genie Hero and will be playing The Seven Sirens when it comes out.

It would be cool to see graphics updated versions of the first three games.

The first one for the Gameboy Color could benefit an upgrade. But the rest not so much.

ok so i went to the movies to see the passion but it was sold out for the next 10 years so i went to the video game store and i found a game that im going to be playing untill MxO comes out and i wanted to know if you guys by Age of Empire 2 and Age of empire conquerors? I got the cold edition so they gave me both .

That was a great game. I was a little surprised to see so many errors and mistakes in a World Series Game 7. Owen had a great call with the Indians getting to Chapman.

Wait, what? What does the 2016 World Series have to do with this game? (which admittedly I don't know anything about)

I saw a Shantae game on the store this week and it looks cool. I never played one. Also, I still have no idea what was up with that post about the World Series.

Anyway, Shantae is a good series, definitely worth your time. Finished all of them except for the first one, but I have it on Switch now so maybe I will get around to it.

Disappointed it is not a Shantae 6 or Shantae RPG.

I'm glad we are getting the canceled game, hopefully it is successful enough that WayForward continues the series.
An RPG sounds like a good idea, are you thinking of something like Indivisible?

I would be fine with a Shantae...

Metroidvania with RPG elements like leveling, equipment, better spell system, etc.

A turn based RPG with a party of 4 in battle, at least 8 total player characters.

I would prefer a 2D game over a 3D one.

Hey there! Yes, I've dabbled in the Shantae games too! Half-Genie Hero was a blast, and I'm eagerly waiting for The Seven Sirens. I totally get what you mean about updated graphics for the first three games – that would be amazing! The nostalgia with a fresh visual twist sounds like a dream. Here's to hoping they consider it in the future!

Seven Sirens is a full on metroidvania while Half-Genie Hero is a platformer like Megaman.
