Watched the first 3. It has its moments & is pretty funny in places, but man, Patricia Arquette is a lot in this. Often just shouting, babbling incoherently, & generally being really, really screechy. I get she's supposed to be an emotional wreck & stoned for most of it, but it's hard to watch at times.

I'll stick with it for Brad Garrett & the promise of more Matt Dillon, but the leading lady really needs to reign it in a bit...

I made it through one...and that was enough for me. Arquette's character is not worth my time.

Stuck with it to the finale. I can't believe that was the end of the season (series?).

Arquette got a little bit more tolerable as it went on (or I just got used to it), Dillon & Garrett were both good but woefully underused (as were most of the rest of the supporting cast) & just when you thought it might be getting to some kind of conclusion, it just stopped. Absolutely nothing was resolved.

It clearly wanted to be a rambling, laidback detective story in the vein of The Long Goodbye or Inherent Vice, & the potential was there, but it was just too messy & full of random subplots & irritating one-note characters with unclear motivations.

Big disappointment. Arquette gives it all she's got but can't save it and she sounds short of breath. It's a good cast but wasted, most of them act like they first saw the script five minutes before the cameras rolled. The lack of an ending is even more annoying when about two episodes worth of running time do nothing but retread established plot points. If it is lucky enough to get a second series I won't be watching
