Just watched the trailer. This could look amazing in HDR. Day 1 for me, as long as it doesn't get canceled.

Was this even in theaters? I kept seeing this advertised along with other movies to go see as part of a promotion to get something back if you watch X amount of movies. However, this one never showed up in my theaters.

Yes, September 28th. Played wide for two weeks then came back for the week of Halloween. It's already come and gone.

This was a fun slasher film! Don't know about a Day 1, but down the line I might grab it.

This did make $15 million on a $5 million dollar budget, so there could be a second film. This is the type of movie that can be made over and over again.

i really enjoyed the movie, but certainly not enough to pay 40 bucks for a blu-ray. gonna wait until it drops to at least 25, though i could definitely wait until it goes to 20

I love this movie and had a blast seeing it in the theater, but they should have used the awesome poster art for the 4K/BD.

I'm not much of a slasher fan anymore but really enjoyed this one. It's more of a 'purist' (pre-Scream) style movie that adds nothing new but still somehow manages to stay entertaining. Never recall it being at the main theater and it only seemed ro be at the discount one for about a week.

Hopefully this pops up for preorder on Amazon and not just Best Buy. Kinda hoping for a 4K steelbook, but I doubt that will happen.

Mentioned it in the other thread, loved the Halloween atmosphere.

Damn I just watched this movie and it was a blast!!! Great setting, great kills, etc. WAY better than most mainstream modern horror trash (Happy Death Day, Truth or Dare, etc). This one is a keeper!

I haven't seen this, but Truth or Dare and especially Happy Death Day were both good movies. :\
