James Bond : Digital 4K vs Blu-Ray - Blu-ray Forum

On digital, Bond has been 4k for a while.

I want to know what people think, do the blu-rays look better or the 4k online?

Note : I'm only talking about the first 20 movies, as the Craig movies already have 4k discs.

I have the entire collection on 4K on iTunes and Blu-ray, while having 4K discs of select titles. From the top of the mind recall:

Connery films are more or less a draw.
Lazenby’s OHMSS is also more or less a draw.
In Moore's films, I have seen improvements in many of them on 4K.
Dalton films are a slight improvement on 4K.
Brosnan. Improvement on 4K esp. GoldenEye.

Overall, 4k iTunes for picture quality, however, the audio quality will be relatively better on the Blu-ray.

i have nothin to add, but i recently saw moonraker for the first time on hbo max. what a borefest.

Hello I am Nick and I am new to these forums. I am looking for information on a James Bond box set beacuase I am a big James Bond fan and I don't see a box set available with all of the movies from Dr. no to No Time To die. Does anyone have any information where I can find one or if one is coming out. Thank you. Nick.

You are new to forums in general it seems, if you had read the thread or did a bit more research, you would know there is NO box set, and won't come out (at least no ETA).

There could have been one last year for both no time to die's physical release + 60 year of Bond but as you've seen, nothing happened.

All you have to see is DR NO and GOLDFINGER 4K digitals on Vudu.

lowry digital did some fantastic job there.
