I really hope Olive is doing okay. Not only for their sake but if they can make money doing this and Paramount can make money doing this there's no reason other studios can't go this route with these kinds of titles.

Like anybody else I'd love tons of extras and a twelve dollar price tag but to me this is the perfect middle ground for deeper catalog titles. They're not full-blown wide releases but they're still accessible at a reasonable price point.

Keep 'em coming.

We do. They're pricey but they get a much easier ride than Twilight Time, I notice. At least with TT there's only two a month - Olive are churning them out.

I just hope we see their Cary Grant titles rolling out soon. Would love to see FATHER GOOSE and OPERATION PETTICOAT in HD.

Thumbs up Bravo Olive

I am sooo excited about blu ray issue of Letter from Unknown Woman among others they came up with, and this amazing company is really great and I am hoping that it is financially viable for long time to come, as long as it surprises me with more movies like that.

I am rather disappointed with this year's Criterion titles issued this year (nothing really amazing about them at all), but Olive is the really big surprise instead.

It would be great if Olive included Tag Gallagher's extremely illuminating video essay from the Second Sight Letter disc, but I won't be holding my breath.

Very interesting titles on tap there.

Letter From an Unknown Woman is a masterpiece and it will be mine. The others all sound like definite rentals especially The Sterile Cuckoo which is something I've been wanting to see for a while.

The Slender Thread is a very good, unusual and underrated film. I have the Olive BD; barebones but the PQ is good enough and the film makes it worth buying.

Just got The Sterile Cuckoo (1969) and Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon (1970) Blu-rays in the mail. Looking forward to watching both. Never seen them before but they both sound good and Liza Minnelli is always fantastic.
