Thumbs up So, Pinball huh?

You like it? Why?
Pinball Wizard: Good or bad? Why?
What's Your Favorite Machine? Why?
Do You have a home collection? What's In it? Can you post a picture?
What's Your favorite thing about pinball (eg multi-ball, drop targets, etc.)? Why?
Personal Opinion:

Long Live Pinball!!!!!!!!

I used to LOVE playing Pinball!
It's been quite awhile since I've played but I was good at Pinbot, Fishing Tales and Haunted House.
No machines at home for me. Maybe someday.
Favourite thing is having a goal, i.e.: drop some targets to get to an objective hole where the big points are.
Multi-ball on Haunted House.

I haven't seen a machine in a very long time and miss playing.

I tried to play on my phone, but too many ads killed that asap. Plus, there's the whole thing with size. "Album folks" who don't like CDs know what I'm talkin' 'bout. The CD is a great thing, but it's cover is sorely lacking when compared to it's album counterpart, size-wise.

Pinball is great. My favorite machine was something to do with a haunted mansion. Haven't seen it in years/decades.

I love playing pinball games on the PC or PS3. Problem is, they spoil me. I tried some actual physical pinball tables, but can't ever do good on them.

When I was a kid, I did become a magnificent whiz on one Batman-themed pinball game. Must have racked up 25,000,000 points or so, enough to unlock an extra credit and get on the high score list. I was so proud of myself.

I went to have a game of pinball in a bar in Majorca years ago(my first holiday abroad) and when walking towards it I slipped on beer that had come from someone dropping and smashing a bottle.

I ended up with a 4" gash on my leg which has left a big scar,I didn't bother going to the hospital but instead was given free drink all night.

In the words of Quint and Hooper....I'll drink to yer leg,I'll drink to yer leg.

That was my adventures with pinball over before they started.

Sorry about the gash, but I think that's a funny pinball story. Maybe you would really have hated PB, so god planted that beer there

I made a mistake. It wasn't Pinbot, that one sucked, Dr Who is the one that fn rocked!

Yeah Villiam, that's a funny one for sure.

Funny, Pinbot is one of the tables on the PS3 Pinball game I have. Wasn't my favorite of the lot, but I enjoyed it.

For you pinball fans out there:

I despise vinyl but I had to order one of these because I sincerely doubt it would see a CD release anytime soon. Supposedly only 500 being printed.

https://jackpotrecords.com/pages/jackpot-plays-pinball

You can also buy them separately as well if for some reason you only want one of the volumes.

This item is a pre-order, it will ship on or before June 23rd, 2023.

• Free US Shipping
• Jackpot Plays PINBALL, Vols. 1 & 2 - Jackpot Exclusive Color Vinyl
• Tables include: Black Knight 2000, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Attack From Mars, Taxi, Pinbot, Funhouse, Medieval Madness, Theatre of Magic, Banzai Run, Fish Tales
• First time ever released

The 80s and 90s was an innovative and exciting time for pinball as the music and playfields evolved to incorporate the electronic innovations rising from the reign of the video game and computer industry. A time when music moved from the background to the forefront of game play becoming an integral element of the feel and kinetic nature of pinball where no two games will ever be exact.

These collections of original electronic music from classic BallyTM/WilliamsTM pinball tables feature songs from many of the most popular games of this era. The pinball industry exploded during the pandemic with new companies and games entering the market and making Pinball the new hot throwback resurgence with barcades, tournaments and arcade museums opening across the globe.

I'm a casual pinball player, but always gravitated toward the more conventional games when inside an actual arcade. I haven't been to one in many years, though.

My all time fave pinball was Bally Xenon (1st came out in November 1980). Every sound, every voice, and all music was beautifully done by the Queen of the Synth herself, Suzanne Ciani. Unforgettable pinball!!!

My most played pinball table has to be Elvira and The Party Monsters that was at a pizzeria near my grandmas. She used to take me to do laundry and get pizza, I'd play it while we waited.
