If they had to go for a Mustang, they should've settled on a Saleen. It's TV, so it doesn't matter, but for real "quick commutes"

The scanner is in that air scoop bit on the hood. It looks horrible

Part of the reason why the original looked so good is because th ecar was long and sleek. They should have found an equiv instead of that short and boxy car

Not even a good color for it, but the best photo I could find quickly. Used to drool over this, SS454's, GTO Judges etc etc when I was a teen. Ended up going the sports car route, though...

That's the beauty of it...if the car is sexy based solely on the lines of it and the look of it, then you have an icon. Even with the yellow I'd still drive it and turn some heads!!!!!

I loved Knight Rider when I was a kid. However, I don't care to see it again or re-vived. I can't believe Hasslehoff is still alive

Its my dream to own one of the classic mustangs - perhaps a nice Boss 427, but definitely one of the 60s ones...:

Better not be the HOFF in this one though. If its just a tv movie, Id watch it - redo the whole series, I think not!

It's probably going to be like that movie with Ben Stiller and the other guy. The fast car, two cops.. ah Starsky and Hutch. The originals made a guest appearance near the end.

he should have an environmentally freidnly vehicle...like a bicycle...dont think it would quite be the same though, car chases would be over after 10 yards, and driving onto the back of that Semi-trailer might be a bit tricky with only 12 gears and peddle-power...
