Default Domino effect on Developer Preference?

I love all the insiders here, and would really like to see an insider from the PS3 Developer/tech/cell processor side of things comment on the impact of the total breakdown occuring for HD-DVD and how it will affect Developer preferences/investments in terms of ports vs. ground-up development for the cell architecture. You can see how powerful the SPE/Cell architecture is with co. that have made the commitment to it from the beginning..the forefront being INSOMNIAC with RFOM, Ratchet, and (wow) RESISTANCE2 pics.

I wonder if there will be a bleed-over effect and that power/preference will shift dramatically towards "PS3 first" development. I'm sure Microsoft's RRoD/HD-DVD/Yahoo trifecta doesn't hurt...
