Don't think this has been posted on here before but there is a Horror movie subscription service called Horror Pack. You sign up for about $24 a month and get 4 different/random Blu Rays each month. This month they're going to have an exclusive That will be on Blu Ray for the first time. You can also sign up for the DVD packs as well and get an addition 4 movies to make it 8 different movies a month. Here's a link to their website of anyone is interested with more information.

Not crapping on the deal, but I've seen in people's YouTube videos of the titles being offered in these horror packs and have been unimpressed. They're either titles I already own or titles I know nothing about and/or have zero interest in.

Yeah, I haven't been too impressed with what I've seen either. I only had it for the month of April and only signed up this month to see what that exclusive Blu Ray is, but I thought I'd make a thread to let people know who might be interested in it.

I've been a subscriber for a few months now...
I also say I'm going to unsubscribe then I get a a few titles that I've wanted the next month, and I sell any dups on ebay

curious as to what the exclusive is, but after watching some a ton of unboxing videos it seems like most of the ones can be found cheap elsewhere.

the dvd box seems to get more obscure titles, which might be better.

might just keep looking at unboxing videos each month and risk trying to sign up right before the cutoff date when i see a box with titles i really want

It's basically a break even proposition with most titles being around $5... with the fun being surprised each month with what you get and/or receiving a hidden gem you've never heard of before.

It wouldn't be a bad idea for horror enthusiasts with smaller collections.

I've been so tempted to do this, but have held off because of the big possibility of getting titles I already have. They should implement a system where they offer 8-12 different films a month, and you pick the 4 that you want, need, etc. That would help greatly I'm sure. Also I've noticed by watching Shawn. C Phillips channel on you tube that these are mostly/all Canadian releases, so some of the covers are a little different/better than the ones in the states. A little bonus for people who like to get different covers/slips/variants of the same film.

Went ahead and joined. Curious to see what their limited edition release is. I have quite a bit of horror movies so I'm not confident that I won't get at least one double. But I'll see how this one goes and decide from there whether to keep the subscription or not
