IGNORANT WB - Why the H_LL not as a double feature with the 1st - you know to save shelf space

I hope when they release Naked Gun 2 1/2 and 33 1/3 - They are not singles but as a 2 pack

I might pick this up. I never bought the DVD and it's worth it for the Shatner scenes (and Stephen Stucker).

They won't, but is it too much to ask that they include the cut TV scenes as an extra? After years of watching this taped from TBS, I had no idea the movie was so short!

Probably because the first has been out for a few years already thus many people already have the first release.

I've never seen the sequel. I'm a fan of the first movie. How does the sequel compare to the first film?

From what I've seen of it, it has quite a few funny gags (though some are stolen from the first). Approach with caution, as it's not as good as the first.

It's actually not very well-loved, since a lot of the jokes are repeated.

I personally always loved the sequel though; for the longest time, I liked it better than #1. It's basically the same as the first film, but it's all in space. Even though some jokes are repeated, there are a lot of good original gags too. Less drama around Ted Styker's PTSD, more about crazy terrorists and a homicidal computer. Much of the cast returns. William Shatner has an awesome cameo. I think it's great.

Here's a good sample of it, with a few of my favorite gags:

Hope so. They made a ton more in the box office than the Airplane sequel.

I think its almost as good. To this day, when I walk up to any automatic sliding door (like at Target or wherever) I still go "Shhh" to open it.

Airplane is better but I still really like Airplane 2 - when comedy films were funny unlike today (well 99% of today).

Bound to be a set with the two I would think though?
