Independent British distributors Network have announced that they are restoring the popular British TV Series The Professionals (1977-1983). Created by Brian Clemens, The Professionals star Gordon Jackson, Martin Shaw, and Lewis Collins.

Restored from the original film elements and boasting exclusive new special features, the individual series will be released on Blu-ray in the United Kingdom starting in 2014.

Independent British distributors NetworkDVD have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of The Professionals: MkI, one of the most successful action thriller series ever made. The release will be available for purchase in the United Kingdom on March 31.

The Professionals is regularly re-run on television and has been released numerous times on DVD but it has never been digitally restored in High Definition - until now!
