They are permanent, for the foreseeable future
Retailers will not carry them.

With how aggressively they're going about releasing these exclusives now as compared to when they first started doing so, by year's end probably there'll be so many more to choose from that people will probably join to get the ones they want and complete a membership just with the exclusives and be done with it then [as is done currently with the ~30 or so that have been released up to now]
So that's an option

Or paying $30+ from third-party sellers but that is a total rip-off
[as paying around $40 or so more gets you 8 more BDs direct by joining]

i ordered the digital version last year.
I remember when they filmed at work the sequence of Joe on the top of our pagoda roof at the chinese theatre.

I thought that was one of the rumored titles? Besides, it fits the 90s theme.

Anyway, you could easily just pick some high traffic titles from the club and resell what you don't want, if membership doesn't appeal to you. Between Marvel, these exclusives, and the canon movies, there has to be 8 worth buying.

George of the Jungle and a bunch of other 90s live action flicks are streaming on Hulu right now. They appear to be in pretty solid shape and so I'd imagine any of them could potentially get a blu at some point.

I was wondering when Disney would get around to announcing their remake of Mighty Joe Young.

I am a bit surprised that Disney is going the DMC exclusive route with MJY. With WB's Monsterverse movies kicked off by Godzilla and last year we got Kong Skull Island with more to come I kind of expected Disney to advantage of those movies' promotion and get a MJY blu-ray out as a general release.
