Hopefully the tech specs will be released soon. I really need to know whether they've included the original stereo mix or not.

A definite classic for us 80’s dudes and dudettes. Great songs and memorable characters. That being said..... I can’t see what benefit I get in owning this in UHD. I know, I know, the UHD police are going to berate me for questioning it and claiming my eyesight sucks or my gear sucks. Whatever.

I’m extremely happy they are coming out with it since that means other titles are on the way. But I won’t be rebuying this. To those that do: enjoy!

I've never been a fan honestly, but glad for those who are that you're getting this. It does bode well for the future of the format that studios are releasing musicals, hopefully well see even further digging into various genres in studios catalogs soon.

One of my favouritest movies. Paramount, PLEASE don't **** this up. I'll take that shitty 5.1 remix if it means getting a beautiful new 4K transfer.

My wife is going to love this. I do admit that I like it too. We haven't seen it for a few years, so it should bring back some good memories.

On the Blu-ray version, aren’t the Coke advertisements in the diner blurred out? I never noticed it as a kid either because it was too subtle on our small tv or perhaps not blurred but I remember this really distracting me the last time I saw it. I wonder if this new edition may eliminate it.
