It is actually the sequel to an Italian RAIDERS rip-off: HUNTERS OF THE GOLDEN COBRA.
COBRA tries to copy many scenes from RAIDERS 1:1 but fails miserably. It is a fun movie nevertheless just because of this.

Never heard of this one. Just watched the trailer this morning, laughed out loud several times. Now it's practically a must-have.

Make us proud, 88 Films! Who else will bring these cool titles to us on 4 UHD!?! The 4k format is here to stay. Thank heavens you guys are in the 4k game now, and please, please spend accordingly to get these titles up to snuff. The better they look, the better they'll sell.

No real reason to be scared since 88 stands behind their releases. Both House and Hell are getting replacement discs.

I feel 88 really did hurt themselves to a great extent with very careless mistakes on those last two releases. If they had not been botched to the extent they were, mainly by simple issues that should never have skated past QA, I wouldn't have hesitated to pre-order their next three or four italian collection 4k uhd's. But I find myself on the sidelines, in wait mode, for Ark, Burial Ground, Zombie Holocaust, etc. They'll have to earn my trust back with another stellar 4k release or two, on the level of their very solid Cannibal Holocaust 4k effort. I'm looking forward to seeing the extent of the corrective measures they choose to take with Hell of the Living Dead 4k.

I've had my copy a few days now. Never heard of the film before so I can't compare it to anything but it barely looks like 4K IMO. Looks nice but I'd be hard pressed to distinguish between this and the Blu-ray edition. I can tell the movie is going to be bad - the theme song alone is so cringeworthy lol.

I'm not worried about 88's future 4K output being mediocre. They're on a 4K learning curve, as was every boutique label their first time out. They've acknowledged the error(s) in HotLD and are planning a do-over so there's that but Cannibal Holocaust looked beautiful in 4K. I'm not expecting them to hit every Italo splatter 4K out of the park because of the fly by night nature of many of those productions. Personally I'll be happy with even marginal upticks in PQ when it comes to these films. I'm happy with the HotLD 4K even with magenta blood because the rest of the film looks great IMO. Maybe I'll participate in the replacement program, maybe I won't, but I'm not boycotting these releases because of a less than perfect disc. I've already preordered Burial Ground and Zombi Holocaust and eagerly anticipate them.

I caved in and just ordered this too, since I don't think anyone else is putting it out in 4k anyway, and I was in the process of grabbing some other titles from OrbitDVD when I noticed this was in stock, so I lumped it into the order. Cinema84 is right (welcome back, Hoss!), cinema fans shouldn't be overreacting and outright boycotting 88 just for their mistakes, although some caution is due until the train is back on the tracks. I'm actually encouraged that the Burial Ground 4k uhd has been delayed a bit, presumably for some additional QA and revision. Burial Ground is gonna be 88's comeback kid in some ways. In the meantime, I can't wait to suffer through my total blind buy of Ark. I just had to scoop it for the collection!
