I was reading the Wikipedia page for this film and was disheartened to read that Netflix had acquired the rights for distribution. Then I read the next paragraph stating that Jordan Peele's company had bought it and became hopeful for a physical release. I look forward to seeing this film.

This is getting complicated. Some things are "Official" and get moved to this section some don't.

Universal have global rights, so I don’t see any point in putting it in international or fragmenting it into a UK thread. It’s like when All Quiet got 3 threads (US/UK/Germany) and people speculated the differences even though it was clear it would be identical. It’s just a case of waiting for the US announcement to catch up.

I don't buy that really.

Someone in Germany would want to hear about a Germany release if there is one I'd say.

Packaging, locked additional Blu-rays, censorship, subtitles, release dates, price points: those are big things.

We'd be as well to get rid of the International section and then every release could have 150 pages turning into a dumpster fire.

I was under the impression the "International" section was for titles that are not releasing in North America. Usually from boutique labels like Second Sight, StudioCanal, Arrow's UK Exclusives, Dazzler etc. while "Global" releases are in the main section.

If someone is in Germany, they could probably look up the German release info, seeing that there will BE a physical release in the first place. Then, if they think it is of value to others, a link could be posted here.

I'm curious to know, is there any subtitled dialogue in this? IMDb claims it's only in English, but sometimes that information is incorrect.

I was considering getting the UK version, but I wonder if it will have player-generated subtitles, if applicable.
