Wish I would have known Sony was going to do this at the time. I would have waited for the DV releases!

No need for question marks - you can't have Dolby Vision without a base layer of HDR10.

One of my favorite movies, no regrets at all buying the older 4K about 4 years ago. I've watched it a few times since.

Yup. That's Sony's gambit.
So, I won't be buying ANY Sony disc that is HDR10 only... because of the year later the DV version will come out.
(Kind of like my rule about not getting any 1080p blu ray that says its from a "new 4K master"- that means the actual 4k edition is probably a year away)
