oh my had no idea about the actor that played Atriu had so many issues but then again not surprising as its hollywood and child actors being not cared for as usual.
also didnt know about the horses!

this was one of my fav childhood movies, I watched the VHS every week growing up haha but not seen it for a very long time. waiting for a english friendly 4k of extended edition but I want to see this doc also.

A great film to do a doc on, and the company behind these (Life after Flight of the Navigator, Life after the Flash etc) do an excellent job. Can't wait to get my copy!

I'd never heard of the "Life After..." movies before , so I'm glad to hear they're good quality.

Yes, they really are! Though as the title suggests, they do focus on the "Life After" of these folks. They do talk the movie as well, but it also details their lives in general.

They've started a Kickstarter for this movie, in order to "help ease the pressure of getting the BluRay out."

Now, our third documentary in the series is soon to be released, but the very independent nature of it has led to asking for some final support to help us get through this last push.

Essentially, the documentary is done! Yes, strange for a Kickstarter campaign I know, but it also means THERE IS NO RISK. The documentary will happen. It is happening, and the plan is to release early next year - also meaning you don't need to go through years of uncertainty or trying to get through to someone on a Facebook page asking for updates.

The Life after Flash and Life after the Navigator have been outstanding. Lisa Downs and her crew do a tremendous job with these.

so much goes into making these docs, I tried to make it without a kickstarter by pre-sales and private investment, but it got to a point that to get it out early next year without selling a kidney, I chose to do a kickstater. the doc is done. I get kickstarter has a bad rep sometimes, but when its just me and my credit cards making them, sometimes indie filmmakers need help

Gerald McRaney did a "random roles" interview for the A.V. Club website a few years ago, and he seemed happy, even enthusiastic, to talk about the movie. I don't know if anything changed.

It looks like the Kickstarter hit its goal of £10,000 over the weekend, so that's great news. The campaign runs until December 16th. From the update:

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for helping this Kickstarter reach its target, we got there today and I'm so so thankful to everyone who helped make it happen!

There is still just shy of 2 weeks of the campaign, but in the meantime I'm working out my release plan including everything I'd like to put on the BluRay which is really exciting.

I'll update an exact release date once the campaign is over mid-December, but I'm looking to have the official release early April. However, I'll ensure all backers get their BluRay as soon as I receive the copies, so hopefully I can get yours to you sometime in March

Anyone who kindly pledged DVDs or BluRays of my other documentaries, I'll start packing them up for you!
