Is anyone getting "We Own the Night" on Feb. 12? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm definitely going to grab the Blu-ray of "We Own the Night" on Feb. 12! With star power like Joaquin Phoenix, Mark Wahlberg, and Robert Duvall, it'll be a no-brainer for me. Is anyone else out there thinking about getting the movie??

I am buying it too. There are some very good actors in the movie. Hopefully, it will not disappoint.

It was a good movie, rocked me to the core, but im only buying movies that i will definitely watch more than once.

Nah...the movie was super boring and I pretty much wanted to leave the theater watching it.. So no.. I won't be buying..

I was going to blind buy, but many, many people said it was OK and/or boring, and that Phoenix is really the only acting standout.

So I'm renting first. Why would I throw my money away because I think I need to have something just because there are some big names in the movie? I've learned my lesson lately and will be smarter about what I purchase.

Definitely picking this one up. Probably the movie I'm looking the most forward to for the next few weeks.

I've been mulling it over, might rent it - and if I like it enough, buy it - but for the moment its only a $15 DVD purchase or a $5 rental, not yet willing to commit the $25 to the Blu purchase when the week of March 11-18 looms ominously in the distance.

Oh, and +3 -5 x0 +1 to JayP's comment.

It's in the post.. bought it blind. Star power plus no end of good reviews from the folks on here plus various sites on the net mean this was a no-brainer. I love having these movies before they're released officially.. especially as I'm in the Uk so it's usually months before most of the guys I know get the chance to see some of these.
