LOCAL HERO is great. GREGORY'S GIRL is better. IMO.

It's my favourite Forsyth and that's saying a lot because there's a good number of great Forsyths.....

Gregory's Girl, together with Local Hero, holds a special place in this Scotsman's heart. Both mean an awful lot to many people. Thrilled to see the great Bill Forsyth arrive on 4K! Stateside, his Breaking In (1989), with Burt Reynolds, is a beautiful wee film too - if you get the chance, don't pass up seeing it!

I don't understand - it will have the original Scottish track, just like all previous releases. The clue is in the features:

And as of writing this they miss priced it at £12.99. I ordered it at this price but I doubt they'll honour it.

Although in fourth year the teacher let us watch The Godfather and taught us about all the subtext and how Michael has two families. That was cool.
