Smile Question buying a PS3 tomorrow

I dumping Samsuck and buying a PS3 tomorrow. I won't have the ability to connect it to the Internet at this time. So can some one tell me the the next best way to update it? Sense I know most likely it won't have the latest firmware out of the box.

USB flash drives are supported. You can download updates to your PC and then move the image to your flash drive.

Edit: I'm assuming you were going for the 40GB version. If you happen to find an 80GB it has all sorts of flash drive slots. Pick your poison.

Found this link. It should have all the answers. Your new 40GB might have 2.10, actually.

Thanks for the link. I talked to a Sony store here in Cincy and they said they have the 80 in stock. I think I'm leaning that way
