Along the way, they will all be forced to battle for their lives—but through gunfire and grisly death, unlikely heroes will be born, ugly secrets will be resolved and long-lost loves will be found. And, at the end of the road, a glimmer of hope and new beginnings await them in Neon City. The post-apocalyptic cult classic features a strong supporting cast that includes Juliet Landau (TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Valerie Wildman (TV’s Days of Our Lives), Richard Sanders (TV’s WKRP in Cincinnati) and the film’s director Monte Markham (TV’s Baywatch).

I've never seen it but from what I understand, it's the name of the city they're trying to reach. Is it right?

Yes. But Neon City conjures something more like Blade Runner. (At least to me.)

Yeah, this flick escaped me, and it came out when I was at Blockbuster weekly open to this kind of material. This is definitely on my radar.

This movie is far more entertaining than you might think. It's totally Stagecoach in the wasteland. I'm really surprised this doesn't have more of a cult following than it does.

The lack of an HD release makes this release extra special. I would've loved a DVD 20 years ago but it would've been an old broadcast master (if that) in fullscreen and practically unwatchable. I honestly did not expect to see the film receive any attention at all so I'm stoked. This and Damnation Alley are two of my favorite post-apocalyptic "road trip" movies.
