Nobody watching this? I started last night and couldn't stop. Made it to epsiode 4 around 1am. Deep, complex characters, good actors, and a fantastic production design. Captivating storylines involving crime, conspiracies and post-/pre-war politics. It really brings the Weimar Republic and the "roaring 20s" nightlife in Berlin to life. There is a music and dance scene in episode 2 that just blew me away even though that isn't normally my thing.

A trailer for season 4 was released in Europe:

https://deadline.com/video/first-tra...abylon-berlin/

The European premiere will be October 8, but AFAIK there is no information on a US release date yet (assuming Netflix will continue to carry it here).

After the rather disappointing season 3, this looks more promising as it enters the era where the Weimar Republic is crumbling and the Nazis are rising ...

Surprised that there's barely any discussion for this.

Almost four months later, with no release date yet announced for streaming or physical media in North America, I'm tempted to buy the U.K. SD DVDs and watch season four that way.

The German Blu-Ray of Season 4 will be released september 29th 2023. I hope Kino Lorber will release a US edition soon. Hopefully this year.

I was going to be annoyed having just bought the UK DVD, but then saw that the German Blu-ray is not English-friendly so crisis averted.

I read that it's assumed North American availability for season four in any form won't be until 2024 at the earliest because of exclusive rights.

This was reported in another thread elsewhere in the forum so I'm posting it here also. After leaving Netflix, Babylon Berlin has moved to Kino Lorber's streaming service: https://variety.com/2024/global/news...in-1235926401/
