SEPTEMBER 28, 2020 – Gravitas Ventures has acquired Wolfman’s Got Nards! Gravtias Features, a Red Arrow Studios company, has acquired North American rights to distribute the film. Slated for VOD and Blu Ray release, October 27, 2020!

I've met most of the cast at various conventions now. Wonder how many are featured in this?

Glad it's finally coming to disc, I saw this almost two years ago where I got to meet Andre Gower, had him autograph my Monster Squad poster and get a photo with him. Bummed that it's Gravitas Ventures which essentially means BD-r (as the photo proves) but I'll get it regardless.

The documentary mostly follows Andre Gower (Sean), Ryan Lambert (Rudy) and Ashley Bank (Phoebe). It's not really a documentary on the film so much as it is about the film's fans, cult status and revitalization long after it bombed at the box office. I don't remember Tom Noonan taking part in it at all, Jonathan Gries has a brief appearance, can't remember if Stephan Macht was in it but I'm pretty sure he wasn't. I'm think it was this documentary that had a decent interview with Fred Dekker though. And of course,

[Show spoiler]Brent Chalem (Horace/Fat Kid) is not part of the documentary since he past away nearly twenty years earlier. They do address that with a sort of dedication to him.

I wonder if this is worth a blind buy, only cause that company is so iffy with Blus working in my player.

I've bought 2-4 titles at Dollar Tree sales, and so far they've all worked, but got a rental from the library the other day and it wouldn't even spin.

Nope.

I'm not sure when it started being ok to use the official Blu-Ray logo on cases/discs that are BD-Rs. That Penny Dreadful City of Angels BD-R release had the logo on the case and this Wolfman's Got Nards release has the logo on the case AND the disc.

Wicked Vision will re-release MONSTER SQUAD in March/April. A 2-disc Blu-ray set. The second Blu-ray will contain the "Wolfman" documentary including bonus material such as cut scenes, extended interviews and music video.

Doesn't make any sense why the 4K release with the documentary didn't include the bonus features and the standalone release does.

I guess Kino is penny pinching fans for an extra $10-15? Those who only bought the standalone Blu-ray, it's not really a big deal, since that didn't have the documentary. However, 4K fans are now supposed to buy the documentary again for the extras...
