Problems with We Own The Night? - Blu-ray Forum

For some reason during the beginning right before the crime scene photos start, the picture goes into a green grid like pattern all over the screen for about a second.Then it stops. Then at the end when the screen goes black, it did it again.I have a panny 10a hooked up through hdmi. is it the player or a faulty disc?

did anyone else have trouble hearing in this? I could barley understand what the f**k they were saying most of the time. I had to turn on subtitles!

PS3 60gb worked fine, watched WE OWN THE NIGHT two weeks ago no problems -_-V that and 30 days of night worked flawless.

i have a bdp1400 and had problems. about 35 to 40 mins in audio drops then pic freezes and i had to power down. i then downloaded the firmware update and still experienced same problems. this is the first problem i've ever had with any disc.

nevermind...faulty disc..took it back to my local best buy..now everything is tip top

I agree; the dialog was very low. I had to put my Onkyo on 65 - 70 to get good audible sound out of it. (normally I have it anywhere between 50 and 55)

The audio was lower than other movies. Wasn't really impressed by the movie. Story Wise

some people get movies in advance prior to the street date for whatever reasons(either screeners, reviewers, samples, and sales inventory)
Some get lucky and see them in the WM. I try not to announce it as these questions arise

Anyways the OP question, It played fine on the Sony BDP-s300

i was amazed at how much i didnt like this movie, especially considering its cast! had way too many holes in its plot along with some ridiculously unbelievable parts.

watched "We Own the Night" with no issues at all. Panasonic BD-30 player with latest firmware v1.4.

Great movie btw.
