It's been on every digital provider for a week or so. I rented it last week.

Very interesting such a small title is getting the 4k treatment. Both the director's movies don't even have digital codes.

Is it likely or unlikely that this and the other 4K UHD release from the same small studio will have HDR? The studio which is releasing these two on December 26 is RLJ Entertainment.

The other release is Mayhem.

Whoa! Shocked this is getting a 4K. That's awesome. Liked the movie, even more brutal than Bone Tomahawk.

According to this podcast I'm currently listening to it didn't get a theatrical release because he didn't want to submit it for a rating. So is this the first straight to VOD movie to get a 4k release?

It did in the UK but it's a super limited release

Hmmm, seems like it could be interesting, and at 132 minutes, there is time for character development and ultraviolence both. But, I'm not sure about Vaughn (and Carpenter...), and I really disliked Bone Tomahawk, which looked like it was made for about $10 plus the price of Kurt Russell's acting fee.

The trailer is conveniently vague, too. It could be good, and it could be utter bollocks.

Here's a welcome surprise; a relatively small movie in 4K. Same guy who directed Bone Tomahawk, a real treat.
