It says director's cut, so one would asume it's the original spanish version.

Wondering if this is worth buying even though I don't have 4K yet

I have a Spanish BD, but I don't think that has English subs for the small parts of the movie which are in Spanish.

Anybody who gouges people for $50 for a movie is out of their minds.

It's obscene.

Maybe they could add some record LPs and a bunch of other stuff nobody cares about, like the 4K Breathless... then they could charge a million, easy!

Even The Godfather trilogy on 4K is $50 at most, before the sale drop to $29.99 or less.

And this is no Godfather trilogy.

And not much else is.

But if people love ridiculous prices, there are more and more options to choose from!

$50 is not an uncommon MSRP, especially for boutiques. Blue Underground's UHD slate has carried the same list price (or higher), for instance. Ditto for Arrow. Many new UHD BD releases from the majors have an MSRP between $43 and $45, which isn't far off.

You didn't pay list price for those. Don't pay list price for this either. As has already been mentioned, Bull Moose has this for $35.97. Diabolik has it for $34.99. You can preorder directly from Severin for $35.
