My purchased content, most of which is of the UltraViolet variety, seems to have gone mostly missing from YouTube. I only see a handful of purchases. When i do a search for some of my missing content, some shows up, some doesn't. The entire season 1 of Britannia is completely missing for example, it doesn't show up at all on a YouTube search.
It's not an app relating problem, as it happens using multiple devices. Is anyone else having similar issues? |

UV has been gone for over 5 years, not sure what that would have to do with Google/YT.
The only ways I know of to get content for Google/YT would be to buy it there directly, or it ports in from MA. Britannia shows up in search with no issues also. https://www.youtube.com/show/SClPQ7w...son=1&sbp=CgEx Last edited by kannibaliztik; 05-27-2024 at 11:09 AM. |

All of my Bond digital copies are missing, and when I search for them, it comes up saying that they're available for purchase. Something is badly wrong with YouTube purchased content at the moment. I have checked the link you provided, and it doesn't work for me. If I switch the VPN on, set to the USA, then it does show up. So it seems to be missing for those of us in the UK for some reason. Proton VPN offers a free package which includes a U.S. location (+ 2 others: Japan & Netherlands, I think) and its bandwidth is unlimited if you need. |

And in this case, it was a UK code anyway. This is not geolocking, it's some kind of error t YouTube. |

YT/GP geo-locking is a weird bizarre duck. Most of the studio titles are NOT locked, even ones like Titanic that have different rights holders (Paramount US, Fox/Disney overseas). I say MOST literally because there are a few locked to the US and vise versa for certain regions (Face/Off is one where the Paramount US and Disney UK versions are locked to respective regions, while the Disney Euro, Asian, and Australian ones can play in regions except for the UK and US).
It's mostly titles from the smaller outfits and select ones only available in one region that are locked. I learned this the hard way trying to cap and preserve a rare movie only available in HD on a foreign YT/GP store. Having right account settings plus correct payments and connections are a real ***** if one is stepping into such for the very first time! |
