Default Best Wes Craven Film

Which Wes Craven directed film do you prefer?

I went with Nightmare on Elm Street, although most of those films are really good.

I agree. I also went with Nightmare, but love almost everything that Wes does. He has many great movies and I would like to see more released on blu-ray.

Most overrated Horror film director -ever-

Well, along with Romero

NightMare on Elm Street, his best work, Rainbow being imo his last good film (1988).

"A Nightmare on Elm Street" is the undisputed king of all Wes Craven movies! In second through fifth place, however, are Scream 1, 2, 3 and Red Eye.

Default Best Wes Craven Film?

I thought that Red Eye was one of the better films that came out in 2005. It was not the typical slasher movie he is known for making.

Scream by far. It's the best post-modern Horror movie which deconstructed the slasher genre perfectly.

The Original Nightmare On Elm Street is an easy pick for this one.

Scream gets my vote. A fantastic flick that revived the horror genre.

NOES - Possibly my favourite horror series.
Scream - Terrifies me. Something about the mask I think. The way the outfit blends in with darkness. That face between a clown, a ghost, and pale death. The Boy Meets World episode was practically scarier than the movies. Wish we still got unique episodes like that on otherwise normal TV shows.
MSTK - Digged the characters.
