Hi,
Just curious as to whether anyone else is experiencing the same issues I have with Amazon over the last few months where you cannot cancel preorder items from orders, with it displaying an error saying to try again later. I have spoken to support on numerous occasions, and they are themselves unable to cancel the movies, which according to them the reason is that the items are in 'advanced shipping' phase, even though the movies are not due for release for weeks. I have had one support person blatantly try to lie to me today saying you can't cancel orders beyond 30 minutes from the initial order time (and yes, I called them out on it). I even got them to check my preoder for the Varsity Blues UHD due for release on January 9th and even that was in "advanced shipping'. This issue is happening on multiple orders on my account. The only proposed solution from support is to wait for the items to be delivered and then return them for a full refund, which is an utterly ridiculous workaround since I live in Australia. No-one from Amazon is willing to help me any further, so I was curious if anyone else has had a similar issue and if they've figured out a way around it? |
