Does it make any difference? I have a base model 42 RCA lcd and PS3. When I watch BD's it states "LPCM 5.1 Ch. 48 K 4.6Mbps" on top for audio info. Does this mean the HD audio track is being passed through to the TV? I am connected by an HDMI cable dir. to TV. I have the PS3 set to auto for audio setup. Linear PCM were the the only two options it selected. I was just curious if I was hearing the best TRACK on the BD even if not from the best (or any) speakers other than the TV's.
I know it's probably not the most advanced or helpful question, I'm just trying to get an understanding... Thanks, Costello |
