So glad I didn't buy the blu initially. When part 2 came out in 4K, I decided to hold off for an eventual 4K for this one.

Yep. I'm just about done with buying regular Blu-rays only for them to go on the shelf, not get watched and then the UHD comes out...

At least with UHD, I see it as the ultimate/final format so when I do get around to watching them, I'm getting the best first experience. I'm trying to only get Blus that I don't think will ever get UHD releases but it's so hard to predict now (in a good way).

Great news. I'm actually really surprised this wasn't released in S. Korea already, or other countries where boutique labels are big on S. Korean films like France or Germany. i would never have guessed Well Go would beat others to 4K. Really fun film.

Well Go USA haven't released that many movies on 4K Blu-ray and I think they should get back on track with their 4Ks!

Also I hope StudioCanal in the UK can release both movies on 4K Blu-ray.

Also, for some reason, Well Go USA only seems to provide 4K streaming versions of their movies to Apple TV. So even if a legit 4K digital copy was included, it would just be limited to that one service.

I just checked a few movies on JustWatch.com (Shadow, Ne Zha, Possessor, and Peninsula) and it looks like only Apple has them in 4K. On other services like Vudu or Amazon, those same movies are limited to plain old HD.

I'm not sure why that is. Maybe it's just some kind of deal they have with Apple? I'm a Vudu guy myself so it frustrates me that they have no Well Go titles available in 4K.

Nonetheless, I might have to pick this up when it goes on sale for cheap. Train to Busan is definitely one of the better zombie flicks out there IMO.

Same! This is an excellent film and in 4K it will only look better!
