Spanish discs with forced subtitles - Blu-ray Forum

Not sure if there was a thread already but if not, could people please chip in with other releases they are aware of?

Psycho 3, Spanish release has forced Spanish subtitles if you select the English audio track.

The re-re-released BD of Jesus of Nazareth has forced subs.

As does the seriously underrated Michael Winner movie The Wicked Lady.

But on my modded multi region Panasonic UB820, I can remove the subs manually. But definitely forced on my old Sony BD player.

These Studiocanal titles all have forced Spanish subs (Divisa Home Video). No equivalent French, US or UK releases unfortunately.

I can confirm that the awakening, the falcon and the snowman, crimes of the heart and soldier blue all have forced Spanish subs when watching in english

I can confirm these 3 have forced subs...

The Voyage of the Damned - ITV , one helluva cast in this 1976 film.

All Quiet on the Western Front - ITV, the 1979 version with Ernest Borgnine

as mentioned earlier.

The Falcon and the Snowman - 1985

Looks like a Panasonic 4K Blu-ray player is on the cards for the subtitle shift feature. The films are perfectly watchable.

The newly released I Spit on Your Grave trilogy 2010, 2013 and 2015 films have forced subs. Region B locked too.

At least they're uncut and 1080p.

It's been a while since I watched it but I recall the second one also having a fair bit of non-English dialogue, is that right?
