Glad to see amazon stepping up their physical promotions lately. Assuming they're not copying a gruv deal through walmart, this is apparently a Universal or SDDS negotiated deal, but it's surprisingly better than even Universal/SDDS's own current deal on gruv. There are even more titles from Universal/SDDS being discounted via coupons on amazon at the moment, like Train to Busan and Peninsula.

I'm surprised to see so many titles with warning banners claiming they're frequently returned items though. It's a completely unhelpful, in not misleading warning without amazon explaining why. Searching the most recent reviews is never enlightening as the warning proposes. You don't even know which edition is being returned, if returns are due to damage that's purely the fault of amazon's packaging and/or handling, if there's something wrong with the release itself, or if too many people just take advantage of amazon's generous return system. Afterall, I've read more than a few reviews where the reviewer claimed they returned the movie to amazon, or asked for a refund in the case of digital purchases, just because they didn't like the movie itself.

I like dogs playing poker... because dogs would never bet on things; so it's incongruous. I like incongruity.

Is there a chance that Elvis and Singin' in the Rain will still have slips and digital codes?

Some of these may be cheaper on Gruv's ebay store with free shipping (might also have a 20% off on 2, I had that last night but not seeing it tonight.)

My Elvis came with a slip; wasn't through this deal though so Every single Elvis at my local Best Buy had a slip, so I'd think there's a very good chance. Probably less so with Singin. There's my two for what's it's worth.

When I went to my Best Buy on the 28th of last month, there weren't any slips for the copies of Elvis they had. People did get slips for Rain when it was on sale for Black Friday. Its really a gamble when you order online, unless its specified on the listing.

Edit: I placed the order. Now its just going to be waiting to see if I'll get the slips and codes.

There is also a 3 for $40 deal on a handful of Warner/Universal UHDs, most notably Barbie.

You should definitely get codes. Slips are impossible to predict though. Even if someone else got one, ordering the very same day, your order will likely be picked from a completely different warehouse, as amazon always seems to ship from the closest warehouse that has stock. Even then, I don't think they actually train their employees to grab covered copies first. They probably just pick whatever is on top, which with UHDs that have been out for a while, could just as likely be a rewrap. The only possible certainty would be that amazon is probably the least likely place to still get a slip, if you wait for steep discounting.

In the 4K deals section thread, someone also posted a link to another 3 for 40 deal amazon has going, which includes a smaller, but different selection, including some newer warner bros titles, like Blue Beetle, Flash, Meg, and barbie.

One of the available titles is The Big Lebowski. Current price $10.04. So the sale will cost you an extra 96 cents... Classic Amazon.

I mean, it IS still a good deal to get two $25 titles plus one $10 title you really want, bringing the would-be total from $60 down to $33.

(Signed, someone who did exactly that because those were the three I most wanted and I had to spend a minute justifying it to myself.)

I picked up Spartacus, Scarface and Justice League, and threw in Big Lebowski mainly because I had $11 in gift credit, which made Big Lebowski free

I got $60 worth in value for $35.

Point being, the 3 for $33 is a heck of a deal no matter what.

I got Singin in the Rain, Bride of Frankenstein and Scarface that came with slips. Wizard of Oz and Blade Runner 2049 did not.

If anyone has a slip for BR2049 I’ll take it off your hands
