Just got confirmation today that they shipped my copy. Unsure how long it will take to get from the UK to me, in the USA, but I'm super excited.

Mine shipped today as well (to Canada). Wasn't expecting it to ship this early because their website said

"AND THAT THE ITEM WILL BE DISPATCHED JUST BEFORE THE LISTED RELEASE DATE. ".

... but I'm happy it's on it's way. Since I was expecting maybe if I was lucky it would show up before Christmas. I've only ever seen the US/Canadian theatrical cut but that was such a pleasant blind buy (though I had a feeling I'd love it). I'm new to this importing from overseas thing and would have paid my local dvd store to do it but they said it would be easier and cheaper for me to do it myself, so when I saw I could use Paypal, I gave it a shot..

Yeah, I was surprised too, especially since the new bonus features haven't been rated by the BBFC yet. So I didn't think it was ready to be shipped yet. But if I get it early, then I'm not complaining.

Where did you guys order from, Amazon UK? I preordered this a while ago and I see no movement yet I already have the regular German BD, but I'm really hoping to check this out before Xmas.

Presumably they ordered it direct from Second Sight. This isn't due for release until December 2nd so I can't see any retailer shipping it for at least another two weeks.

Mine just arrived at Canada customs but makes sense it would take longer then to the US. According to my tracking it says 3-7 business days. Once they created a tracking entry it didn't move for a week but that's OK, I have a million other things to watch right now so I wouldn't get to this one ASAP either.

My tracking just kept saying "Sender Preparing Item", until it got delivered. And I just checked it again and it STILL says it.

According to dvdcompare.net there's an easter egg -

[Show spoiler]DISC ONE: Highlight "Outtakes / Gag Reel" and press [Right] four times to activate an extended outtakes reel (11:07).

I popped for deluxe tracking/shipping or whatever so maybe that gets me more info then standard. I don't know, but it did sit there not moving for 6 days. It's all good I have lots to watch. Deciding what to watch is the main problem..

I got the same kind you did, more expensive deluxe tracking/shipping, but it never updated.

And I finally checked out about the Easter Egg, dvdcompare is completely correct, it's there and accessible exactly how it's stated.

My copy arrived today. This will go nicely with my preview discs.
I'm now looking to see if there are any other versions of this movie because I like to have all the edits/cuts/versions!!

I still cannot believe this movie got under my radar, this is going to be a definite Christmas watch for me every year now!

There's three versions of the movie:

US theatrical cut - 92 minutes

UK theatrical cut - 97 minutes

Extended cut aka The Festival Cut - 108 minutes

I believe the Canadian Blu-ray contains the 92 minute version.
