Police Story – considered by Jackie Chan himself to be his best film in terms of pure action, Police Story stars Chan as “super cop” Chan Ka-Kui, who goes up against a notorious crime lord in a series of escalating set-pieces that resulted in many of Jackie’s stunt team being hospitalised.

Police Story 2 – Demoted to traffic cop after the events of the first film, Chan Ka-Kui is reinstated to the detective unit when a deadly gang of explosive experts blow up a building and threaten to blow up more if their demands are not met. Oh god yes. I want this so much! Time to cast off my old HKL versions of the movies (well. . . .probably). Any doubts about picking this is? The trailer should sweep away any concerns:

- Fortune Star lied about giving the original mono audio, so Irongod is looking for a high quality version of the original mono mix

- The 5.1 mix has dropout on some players and is part of the track itself(?) so that's being looked into

- The colour grading isn't that good. The company (L'Immagine Ritrovata) is notorious for incorrect colour grading on their scans of older films; this is who Fortune Star used for their scans, and so far, Eureka can't touch the 4K master they made.
