Decent film, would watch again so will have to pick this up at some point.

I liked the film more than I expected. Very interesting topics and great ending.

About the edition itself, I’m surprised that there’s just one blu ray edition coming out and it’s an HMV exclusive. I wonder why. That said, it’s just a month left and there’s no official image of the actual artwork.

It's probably a situation like Challengers and Bones & All, where it was a modest hit but not doing crazy numbers, so making it a retailer exclusive means it'll be a limited run for those who really want it physically. Otherwise, this was bound to just be dumped on Amazon Prime like most other Amazon MGM titles.

In fact, they missed a trick by not doing this with Saltburn, which they did dump on streaming and it turned out to be a hit (I didn't love it myself but it definitely made some waves). And FWIW, I would've absolutely bought a Blu-ray for Thirteen Lives, as well as On the Count of Three of which the release was completely fumbled (dumped on Amazon Prime roughly this time last year, with no theatrical release in 2022 like the US got).

Anyway, I think this is better than nothing, and certainly better than just a DVD as I thought Challengers was getting until the Blu-ray was announced, and interesting that both Warner Bros and Disney are doing this sort of thing now (the latter have done Kinds of Kindness and The French Dispatch as HMV exclusives, for example).

I'm pretty sure that it's only an Amazon / MGM production in the USA and is distributed by Warner here if that makes any difference.
