Never expected this to come to Blu-Ray any time soon! Looks like Channel 4 is getting serious with Blu-Ray, I just hope my constant twitterings about Local Hero have got through to them.

Sweet. I really like this one. Hopefully it will at the very least have English subs as I find the accents a bit hard to understand sometimes.

Glad to see Channel 4 releasing some of their back catalogue after not doing so for absolutely ages. Hopefully this'll be better than some of the ones they have released thus far...

Getting this anyway - love Mike Leigh and I haven't seen this one!

I have no idea how this release stacks up against that released by Criterion in the United States, but this title is also part of Amazon's 3 for £17 offer should anyone be interested.
