If your TV is a Sony and you have the TV connected to the web, you can view 3D via the web through your TV. You must have a 3D savvy Sony TV in order for you to view 3D TV stuff. Also, if you have a Sony 3D blu ray player, you can also get 3D stuff via the web. I am able to get 3D stuff via my TV or the blu ray player. Hope this helps a bit.

No, I dont' have any sony product. I have LG 3D tv connected to the internet. but can't find any movie trailer from the web. It will be nice to see 3d movies trailer to see how the look like in 3d before going to watch it or buy it.

YouTube has 3D trailer's. Type yt3d and lots of video's come up. But they aren't very up to date and it only works on Firefox on my PC, don't know about the browsers on Smart TV's.

I plan to get an LG passive later in the year and plug in a PlayStation as my blu-ray player. Does this count as one of the Sony products that can view 3D content on the web?

Thanks for the idea, I'm going to have to access the internet through the browser on the PS3 and check out some 3D trailers. I am really interested in seeing Star Wars PM trailer in 3D.

I tried watching some 3D trailers from youtube via my PS3's browser and it just did not work. Since the PS3 is unable to process the higher resolution in youtube, the pixelated trailer just doesn't turn out good at all, plus it froze a lot, but that may be due to my internet connection being dumb that night. I haven't tried it again since.

I posted in another thread that my Panasonic 310 3D blu-ray player has a few good apps in it including one for You Tube. I did a search for 3D movie trailers. In the results I could see a bunch of them. The video preview image showed what looked like two small photos of the same image (side by side) in the preview icon.

Once a 3D You Tube trailer started playing, I clicked the remote on my LG 5600 to turn on 3D. I picked the 3D option for side by side, then BANG! The 3D You Tube movie trailer played in 3D!

There are a lot of 3D You Tube movie trailers. I found the Star Wars 3D trailer.

The only bummer is that on a 55-inch screen, many of the You Tube 3D trailers looked fairly low-resolution and very pixelated.

Here is a link, but you will not see it in 3D unless you play it on a 3D display and have 3D glasses (active shutter or passive, depending on your set-up).

You can also switch to red/cyan glass mode in youtube and just watch it on your computer.

The conversion looks interesting, still has that pop up book look but interesting all the same.

I just hope Jar Jar Binks does come out of the screen in 3D.

I do it two different ways.

The quick and easy way is pull up the 3d youtube video on my ipad and airplay it to my appletv and turn on the appropriate 3D mode on my tv. It works but since the the appletv is 720p and my tv is passive and the it is youtube quality, it doesn't look as good as it could.

The better way, but not as quick, is to hook up my laptop via hdmi and pull up the youtube video in chrome, make it full screen and turn on the appropriate 3D mode. This way looks better, but it is still a youtube quality video.

Watching the BCS Championship on ESPN 3D...

Great quality trailers for Island movie with the Rock and Transformers 3 Blu-Ray.

Now they are showing John Carter of Mars, very cool.
If you get ESPN 3D, check it out.

These aren't tv spots but full blown 3d trailers.

I have the passive LG TV too. The frustrating thing about Youtube is that when you search for YT3D, the same old titles come up time and time again and you have to trawl through all the old stuff to find new stuff! Can take hours!!!

That's YouTube for ya--
Of course, you go 3D Tube surfing on the PS3 or TV-set app, you can find all manner of things you didn't expect to find.
Like...
[Show spoiler]Asian 3D family videos, for instance?

(Hadn't looked for the Star Wars one yet, since it didn't look too impressive in theaters at the Tintin screening. )

I cannot agree with you. The You Tube 3D trailer quality is so poor that one can barely make out the 3D experience.

I need to see an HD version of this 3D trailer. Better yet, I will wait for the theatrical review which I am sure will be posted on this site when Star Wars 3D is released in theaters.

I expect that there will be quite a few spectacular 3D moments in Star Wars. The pod race sequence alone should be mesmerizing!

Time will tell.
