I'm curious, when does a film for you enter your list or top ten for favourite films?
A good film has many parts, however I think one important aspect is that it makes you feel something at the time (E.g. excitement, suspense) and you're still thinking about it weeks later - in a good way obviously. From a personal perspective, I can watch a film and not think much of it and then re-watch it later and like it. It depends on my mood at the time. Equally, I can get swept away by a film and need to revisit it later to have a more objective viewpoint. How many times do you watch the film before you 'know'? |
