Anyone else got this yet?
An absolutely awful release in terms of fussiness. PQ and AQ look good, though. Firstly, it doesn't come in a regular-sized case. Good luck sticking this on a shelf with all your film spines showing, as it's about an inch wider and will massively stick out. Ridiculous packaging. Secondly, it folds out into 4 flat sections where the discs are all hidden so you can't see what you're taking out without pulling apart the cardboard and taking a lucky dip. Thirdly, 3 options of film (great! I only thought there were 2) - regular theatrical edition (2 hr 40), special edition (2 hr 50) and Collector's edition (3hr), but ONLY the theatrical has ATMOS. So any time you switch editions, you get a big black screen telling you to change the audio settings. I'm seriously thinking of just sending it back and getting the normal 4K. |
