Oooh, it looks like I will get this as part of my contribution to the restoration on Celluloid Angels. I'm always really surprised when these things come up, since I funded it back in June 2016, and I received another perk several months ago.

But I just got an e-mail about updating my address, so it looks like the backers have not been forgotten. Now to hope they send the correct UHD edition, and not the BD or DVD version...

I received my copy today. I don't have a 4K setup, and I haven't had a chance to watch the new Blu-ray, but I did notice that the UHD disc has three rings in the center on the data side, so I assume it is a 100 GB disc. This makes sense, because the j-card specifies that the UHD disc also includes the bonus features. According to the j-card, the extras are all in 1080p, except for the trailer, which is apparently in 4K on the UHD disc.

There is no mention of HDR anywhere on the packaging, so I must conclude this is a 4K SDR disc, in spite of the blurb "Ultra HD Blu-ray 4K du film (en HDR)" on Amazon.fr. The lack of HDR is also backed up by French reviews of the disc at AVCesar and Digital Ciné.

Here is the scan of the new remastered 1080p Blu-ray below. Note that on the Blu-ray, none of the extras are subtitled in English, so I assume the same holds true for the UHD BD:

The two additional audio tracks are an audio commentary, and a descriptive audio track. There is no 50Hz content on the Blu-ray Disc.
