Releasing this a few days before the Hungers Games comes out in theaters a really smart idea. I'm sure people will be comparing the two and talking about it.

Nice! I have the UK collectors release of the first film, but going to pick up this Complete Collection to get the second film on Blu-Ray.

If Arrow released a collectors set of 2 in the UK, I would get that instead but they haven't even announced a license for it yet.

No way! I was mortified that I missed out on the UK Collectors Edition. This makes me happy.

I would recommend watching BR II first if you can. It's a very weak film compared to the first one.

Wonder when we'll get the 3D version.

I love my UK BR set. It is one of my fav BD releases I own. I am happy for those who missed out on the UK set & will finally have their chance to own this amazing film on BD.

For the US release I will be interested in exactly what the special features are since the UK set special features are in PAL DVD and I can only watch them on my CPU.

Great to finally see a release date for this. I'm really intrested to see if AB go all out like Arrow did and give the set an awesome packaging and a crap load of features. A limited edition run like the UK one would be awesome, I'd love to add another to my collection.

I want to see if they do a completely new transfer too, and see how BR:2 looks Can't wait!

I love the first film but have heard absolutely horrible things about the sequel. Still worth buying the Complete Collection for the extras?

Very cool, considering I missed out on the UK version.

Will probably get the Complete Collection, even though I wasn't too crazy about the sequel (though it's not as bad as I thought it would be).

I liked the second film a bit more than the most people I think. But I won't buy a expensive set because I got the UK version. I hope they eventually release the second film as a single disk release.

Unless we're getting a brand new transfer for the Theatrical Cut, I'm good with my Arrow Video box set. Nice for those that missed the UK LE, though.

Great films, great price! Can't wait! Will make a nice birthday gift for me

EDIT: Mistook the price of the one film as the double pack. Not so hot of a deal anymore. I'll wait for it to go down in price.

I feel the same way. I am TOO excited to see this finally get a US release.

I just couldn't bring myself to shell out the big $$$ for the UK edition.

I hope the PQ and AQ are top notch on these.

Thanks for posting this, and for the links.

Curious guys, based on my collection of owned/ordered/wish list, would I enjoy these? I've been curious to see them for the longest time but haven't gotten around to them.

If you like LOST, Lord of the Flies and The Running Man, then you're all set
