Kinda sad that it's a direct sequel to 4. That game sucked. I hated the story and characters in it. :/

I only played the first few levels of the fourth. Same for the reboot (which I enjoyed, despite New Dante being obnoxious as ****).

To everyone expecting it to be shown off at PSX, did you actually read the leak?

Originally DMCV was intended to be announced at PSX but after receiving feedback on their E3 press conference, Sony decided to scale back on PSX and instead scale up E3 2018. DMCV was an unfortunate casualty of this choice and thus it’s unlikely that DMCV gets officially revealed in 2017.

Now, it's possible that Capcom will reveal it at The Game Awards (though unlikely) or just reveal it on their own sometime before E3 2018, but assuming this part is true, we're not getting a reveal at PSX.

That’s why there is a rumor in the title. Nothing is confirmed and everything is up for speculation. And just bc it’s revealed at TGA doesn’t mean it can’t be showcased at PSX. A brief teaser to first announce it followed by an extended trailer to reveal gameplay and more details isn’t out of the realm of possibilities

Except Sony does not want them to show it off at PSX. They want to wait until E3 2018 to start revealing the big guns, to make up for the lackluster show this year. So if Sony doesn't want Capcom to reveal DMCV at PSX, they aren't revealing it at PSX. If the trailer's already done, they might show it at TGA instead, or just release it on their own early next year. But we're definitely not getting anything at PSX.

It's based off the leak that you posted. And considering that a lot of other people have leaked info on DMCV, and other people in the industry have corroborated the info, it's pretty likely that the post is accurate.

In any event, expecting something at PSX when the post literally says that it won't be at PSX is incredibly stupid. If you're getting excited because of the leak, it makes no sense to expect something the leak says isn't happening.

Well I didnt express any excitement in any of my posts and its silly to go back and forth over speculation for a game that isnt confirmed to exist
