Playboy on DVD - Blu-ray Forum

I've had a strange bit of nostalgia come over me the last few weeks, that being of my youth of the 1990's and early 2000's when Playboy was still producing DVD's, and I assume videocassettes and laserdiscs as well. I won't deny the fact that when I moved out on my own for the first time and was of legal age, I rented a few of those movies. Can't say I finished them all, but I'm feeling weirdly nostalgic for them.

Anyhoo, I know there are some titles listed in the database of DVD's, but it seems like a small amount for what I thought would be a lot more. The official Playboy website doesn't have a database of their past titles on physical media, nor can I really find anything by doing a basic google search, just a lot of random nothing.

I also went looking on eBay, and I was shocked to find very few results, most of which looked like bootlegs, and the ones weren't bootlegs selling for hundreds of dollars. Is this really a thing, old adult DVD's on physical media going for hundreds of bucks?

Just curious if anyone might know where they might be a database of all the titles they produced, and if those prices on eBay are actually a real thing going on now, old adult DVD's selling for ridiculous prices?

As for the prices: the cold, hard truth is that it's a seller's market. Not much made it to DVD; some of the films / shows that did were heavily censored; and the remainder have not been manufactured for the US market for...probably near twenty years now.
