My son has a 37" LCD he got over two years ago. Works great, but the contrast ratio is so bad it looks like an older tube TV. He broke down and got the Sony 52" XBR, but he still uses the Westinghouse as a computer monitor.

He was in Afghanistan for a year, so my wife used it to do web surfing and Quicken with; it's OK. I think it's fine if you don't have huge bucks for a higher end unit, color mix is great, just not very high resolution.

I have a Westinghouse LVM-37w1 37" 1080p LCD. I love everything about it except for the HDCP handshake issue I have with my PS-3. Whenever I have 1080p selected on my PS-3 Display settings, I get horizontal noise. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and re-insert it. After that, it looks great. Both manufacturers blame each other.
