Can't see a UK thread for this. Not seen this since it was released in '95. Didn't like it far better with Polanski's Pirates. Tempted for this release as the standard case is horrible.

I recently bought and watched the US Walmart exclusive steelbook. I hadn't seen it in many years but, it was lots of fun. It only has a 5.1 DTS MA, and LPCM 2.0 but, boy did it deliver on that bass during battle scenes with explosions. Has quite the punch.

This film is criminally underrated. The soundtrack and everything about it was great.

I went with the UK release because the poster art was the obvious choice.

I do not think there was ever a thread for the Cutthroat Island steel book in the UK as there was a '4K international movie' thread for the film, which was marked with an Aussie flag. No-one has posted in that since Christmas Eve

Just went to Walmart web site to take a look at the steel that they had and they also had a "regular" version from Studio Canel listed at $32.41. Didn't know there was another version of the film out. Anyone else know anything about this? Thanks
