I got excited for a minute. These are okay -- I have them in 4K on Apple TV. I'm still hoping for the second live action film.

These are already available in Italy and in 4K UHD on Apple TV but nice to see Shout giving them a phys release

I didn't pay attention the year so I thought it was the live action and thought ugh, I don't want to buy a set for Values lol Get on with it, Paramount.

I didn't have any interest with these but it's nice that they're coming out on 4K for those that want it.

Will this be 2 4K discs and 2 Blu-rays? You know, I'm thinking Shout could release more recent MGM movies on 4K in the US, such as House of Gucci, Dog and Licorice Pizza.

It started a few months after the work on the 1991 film was done by him. That also took a long time due to Sonnenfeld assembling the Mamushka Cut of the film. Unfortunately, the pandemic delayed his work even more.

So I’d guess this also makes Shout Factory the most-likely distributor for the 1964 series on Blu? I believe MGM controls both the series and these animated films.

Thanks for the update. I do remember hearing something at the time, but had kind of given up on it. Good to know hope is still alive for it!
