Seems like an official release. Specs are listed as 1.85:1 aspect ratio (16x9) - isn’t 16x9 = 1:1.78? The widescreen aspect ratio when cropping 4:3 made for TV movies for widescreen TV’s?

Anyway, sounds like an amazing release. Apparently they’re scanning the inter-positive. Would be amazing if Koch released ‘Blind Side (1993) with Rutger Hauer on BluRay.

Finally...but unfortunately it's an exclusive Koch website release and no shipping to the UK.

Feeling very relieved to have a German contact. Definitely ordering this. If those screen shots are accurate this looks like a great transfer compared to the DVD

I wonder if it’s only the steelbook packaging that’s exclusive to their site? Hopefully it gets a wider release with the same disc content.

Sweet! Big upgrade from my scandinavian dvd which is presented in 1:33. Was pretty close to buying the UK dvd recently. :P

I noticed there is Wedlock on YouTube and the running time is 1hr38mins is that the unrated one?

Just got this the other day.

Even though the packaging says just German subtitles, you're are in luck it has English subtitles too. Here's the menu option:

It's the same edition, Plaion Shop exclusivity ends on May 25th and becomes available through many retailers
