fantastic. Hopefully the episodes are complete as they often have left out episodes or cut/edited the episode because of length or cencorship.

it looks like they will add the non-german-dubbed episodes aswell (OmU = english with german subtitles)

people should know that not all episodes were dubbed and shown on the german TV so this release will containing those episodes in original english language track with optional german subtitles.

I've ordered the first four seasons. If you support these releases we'll get the entire series.

There are other series like "The Rifleman" and "Gunsmoke" that have been released in their entirety.

And then there are other shows like "Bonanza" that have stalled.

If you care about "The Virginian" then support these releases.

There are a few German physical media releases of films and older TV series (DVD and Blu-ray) which I hope to get during the remainder of this year, and based on the early feedback (comments, observations etc.) in a thread started in the TV Shows sub-forum for The Virginian, I may add the German Blu-ray release of the first season to those titles I already want to get. Hoping the TV Shows thread can be merged with this one.

I know the main reason I take interest in The Virginian, Gunsmoke and Wagon Train is because of the many Hollywood legends that made appearances, particularly Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. I can never remember which seasons or actual show they appear in but you guys are giving such positive reviews that for 35 ish Euro a season I can also support it in hope they release the whole show.

I really hope someone picks up Murder She Wrote, which stalled in France after the first half of the show undersold.

I can strongly second that about Murder, She Wrote for sure. Surely there must be interest in a complete series Blu-ray boxset of it? Although I dread to think what the price would be. But to be on on-topic, I am aiming to order a copy of the German Blu-ray release of The Virginian sooner rather than later (with some other titles).

recently watched some episodes of "men from shilo" what a change in style and feel to those early seasons ( though I suppose it's fair to call this a spin off or not ??) enjoyable end of an era.

Picture quality are very good. sharp, clean, free of any damages. Colors are "fresh" as it should be like filmed yesterday.

All Episodes are uncut. English track available

The german dubbed versions contains partially english spoken parts with german subtitles as episodes were often edited from 75 min down to 60 min (so those parts were never dubbed).

About 10 - 15 episodes were never shown on german TV = never dubbed into german: they are completely available in english german subtitles.

In the box is added a nice booklet with some infos about the show.

Fazit: definitiv a must have it (especially for german fans as getting some episodes for the first time!!!)
