United Kingdom Star Trek - original film series

Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows if Star Trek V and VI are available as separate blu rays ? I see they have released the first 4 films in nice single editions with lovely slipcovers too but not the last two. Anyone know ?
Thanks

I'm not sure if they have slipcovers, but you can buy them as single blu's, as well as a steelbook.

They are, but the first four have had nice new masters, so unless you're desperate I'd wait for new releases as the old ones aren't great.

Thanks for all the input . Ended up buying the first 4 films this morning. Hopefully they will release V and VI with better artwork/transfers etc once they get them ready for 4K too. Does seem odd to stop at 4 and not complete all 6.

2-4 makes sense as they have an overarching story. If they were doing 2-4 and TMP was also done then they may as well market it as 1-4.

I’d guess that 5 and 6 were/are yet to be completed and they didn’t want to wait. Fine by me providing 5 and 6 follow, which they surely will at some point.

I believe they're doing 2 more phases of remastered/4K Star Trek movies. V, VI & Generations, followed by First Contact, Insurrection & Nemesis.

I would love to see VI with a proper remastering. I've theorized that they skipped it because that would force a restoration crew to re-watch V. Nobody should be made to undergo such an ordeal. It's Shatnering all over the place.

Nice when they stay around for a bit, have noticed the last few times I have seen them in my local HMV store they all still had slips.

Happy to report that all the Next Generation films also came with slips from HMV.

Surprised to see Generations has been bumped up to a 15 by the BBFC. I assume that's because of the extras? Or has the director gone back & edited some gratuitous nudity & F-bombs back into the film?

Do the slips have a Blu-ray banner at the top?

I have the BD remasters (excluding Wrath as I already had the 2016 DC release, similar or same transfer). No banner on 1,3 & 4, but 5+6 have a BD banner. Here's a couple of pics, inc the spines (& Wrath 2016):
[Show spoiler]

Fairly consistent, excluding 4 with its purple spine...

Looking at an pic from an ebay listing, Wrath has no banner:

I think the Directors Cut of 'Motion Picture', released later, has a banner.

Not sure about the TNG films, I got the UHD+BD boxset for those. It was only a few pounds more so made sense.

EDIT: I don't think the UK Wrath 2016 release ever came with a slipcover, so if you want a full set with slips you'll want the 2021 release anyway.

II, III & IV don't. the rest do. Pity the banners for V & VI aren't in black like the rest, & they could've made a bit more effort to make the TNG spines line up or match, but hey...

TMP is embossed.

I also already owned the previous release of II, but I despise the 'Mondo' style cartoon artwork, so it was a no-brainer to replace it.

Just noticed that VI is missing the last letter of the title on the spine!

Wonder if they're all like that or if mine's 'collectable'?

FYI, Wrath of Khan is a different disc to the previous remastered release. It looks to be the exact same transfer & extras, but it's a re-authored disc with new menus.

The old one had various clips playing under the options, the new one just has a static shot of the poster art.
